EMPIRE BEAUTY SCHOOL TAKES
IN STUDENTS WHOSE OWN SCHOOL
CLOSES
The Lab, a Paul Mitchell school in New Jersey, recently shut its doors. Many of the students were left with
only part of a beauty school education and nowhere to
go. Empire reports that Lily Nejab, who moved to the
United States from Iran about a year ago, was one of
those students and needed to find a place to finish up her
hours. Nejab, who already holds a cosmetology degree
in Iran, said, “I already have a position at a local salon.
The only thing I need is to take my state board exam so
I can be licensed.” With only 49 hours left to finish her
degree, Nejab and 23 other students found a home at
Empire Beauty School’s Bordentown campus.

COSMOBIZ SALON APRIL 2016
Arrojo offered three hands-on classes in March focused
on bringing students the best in texture education. American Wave and American Wave Advanced were held on
Monday, March 7th. American Wave Advanced taught
new American Wave wraps featuring tighter curl patterns at the nape, with significantly looser curls through
the top, inspired by the fashion and beauty trend toward
loose textures, bombshell beach waves, and volume. In
addition, Arrojo offered a class teaching students how
to cut and style curly hair. Arrojo signature techniques
were presented on a live model. All classes took place
at the Arrojo Advanced Academy in New York City.
