Everyone knows the best part of entering a new season is new beauty trends. For spring, in particular, we finally get
to tuck away our deep lipstick and dark smokey eyes to embrace the bright, happy colors of spring. And thankfully
for us, spring 2016 beauty offers no shortage of bright and vibrant colors to usher us into the season. Yes, that
means the “no makeup makeup” trend has finally taken a backseat to color! Here are some of the boldest and
brightest beauty trends of spring 2016 and everything you need to do to rock them in style.
THE TREND: BOLD & BEAUTIFUL LIPS
Could it be? Nude lipstick a thing of the past?
Well, according to spring 2016, it is! This season, it’s all about the vibrant shades of crimson red, hot pink, and bright orange. Even bold
shades of oxblood get their chance to shine this
spring with this deep berry shade being popular through the season. Whether you’re into the
liquid lipstick craze or prefer something a bit
more traditional, rocking a bold lip this spring
is exactly what you need to start off the season
right.
How To Rock it: The key to getting the bold
lipstick trend right is choosing a color that
compliments your skin tone and keeping the
rest of the skin light. If you’re having trouble
figuring out where to start, try a bright classic
red. MAC Red is a versatile option for a vivid
blue-toned red. You could also try NARS Jungle Red or the more affordable Maybelline On Fire Red. For the rest of
your makeup, keep the skin fresh, possibly even opting out of foundation and using a tinted moisturizer with concealer
to cover blemishes instead.
THE TREND: ALL THAT GLITTER
Next to bold lips, glitter is the spring trend that
has officially sealed the exit of “no makeup
makeup” this season. From full on dazzling
glitter eyes to simple sweeps of glitter eyeliner
to the almost impossible to remove glitter nails,
whatever the occasion there’s a glitter that you
can wear with ease.
How To Rock it: As pretty as glitter is, it can
be hard to get it right. To keep it simple, find
