2. What have been some of the most rewarding experiences of working in bridal
hair?
From those initial gratifying experiences, Mar has
gone on to secure her place at the pinnacle of the wedding industry as one of the first dedicated Bridal Beauty
Stylist.
Over the past 18 years Mar has worked on over 4000
weddings- all around the world and, although she gets
routinely called for production and celebrity work, she
still feels loyal and is very passionate about the wedding
industry. Mar’s work has been prominently featured in
publications such as People Magazine, US Weekly,
Vogue, Marie Claire, and Martha Stewart Weddingsjust to name a few.

3. What inspired you to create your own
extension line, TEAM Bridal Extensions?
How did you go about the process of developing your system? As a one piece clipin with pull through holes it’s very different from many of the other systems on the
market.
For years, Mar and the stylists of TEAM Hair and
Makeup searched high and low for the perfect extensions for their brides. After testing out dozens of options, Mar, the Creative Director of TEAM, and Nicole
I., TEAM’s Co-Director, decided the best thing to do
would be to create their own perfect Bridal Extensions.

4. What are some of the things to consider that are different when doing bridal hair
and makeup than when doing regular hair
and makeup?
At TEAM Hair & Makeup we live and breathe weddings, and therefore understand the importance of your
wedding day hairstyle, and looking flawless from the
walk down the aisle to your last dance. One of the most
important things Mar believes in when working on a
bride is to enhance their natural beauty and not completely do them over, so that 10 years down the road
when they look back at their images, they still look
timeless and they remember how beautiful they felt
looking like themselves.
