MAKING SELF IMPROVEMENTS
as a SALON EMPLOYEE
M
ost of the time, when applying for a job
at a salon, the only thing we think we
would expect to do is attend to customer’s needs. As a beginner, the usual aim
would be to look for a job, work hard, and get paid–a
common mentality of newly employed or applicant
hopefuls. Having bigger dreams require a lot of reflecting on our own performances and attitudes as an employee. Which is why making self improvements as an
employee is necessary.
We tend to forget that it takes more than getting
through a day at work to reach our dreams and ambitions. Becoming a good, effective employee could lead
you to a life changing experience. It might sound exaggerated but with great determination and self improvement, it could happen.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR JOB
A more defined job role is usually given to you on
your first day. You might be told to increase sales, fill-in
for an absent staff member, assist when needed, etc. As
a trainee, it will be expected of you to assist and watch
