Tied for 2nd in the Astros system in RBIs, and slotted 8th in batting average. Named JetHawks Player of the Month for April, batting .301 with 6 doubles, 1 triple, 2 homers, and 11 RBIs in 19 games. With Lancaster, maintained a .435 average and 1.076 OPS in 15 May contests. At the time of his promotion to Corpus Christi, led the California League with a .372 batting average. Made AA debut at Midland on May 20 and hit a game-tying 2-run homer in Corpus Christi’s 4-3 victory. Plated 4 runs on a double and a 3-run poke June 13 vs. San Antonio. Also ranked among the club’s top 5 in at-bats (2nd), games (3rd), home runs (T-3rd), triples (5th) and walks (5th). Hit safely in 13 of 17 games May 2 – May 20, batting .400 with 15 runs, 6 doubles, 1 triple, 15 RBIs and a .437 OBP. Posted a pair of 4 RBI games (June 7 at South Bend & July 28 at Beloit). Named River Bandits Player of the Month for July, batting .340 with 11 doubles, 2 homers and 24 RBIs. Slugged .510 and reached base at a .378 clip. Performed better on the road (.328-4-34) than at home (.289-2-36), and all 6 home runs were off right-handers. 2014 – Batting average ranked 4th in the Houston system and tied for 4th in the New York-Penn League. A NYPL All-Star, paced the Valley Cats in average, hits, RBIs and total bases (99), while placing 2nd on the club in games, at-bats and doubles. Batted .325 in first 42 games, featuring 14 extra-base hits and 33 RBIs. Posted a .272-1-7 line in the remaining 21 games. Featured 4 RBIs on 2 occasions (July 1 at Vermont & July 24 vs. Staten Island). Also carved out a season-high 4 hits July 1, making the most out of 2 doubles and a 3-run homer.
