the 81st Texas League All-Star Game before a crowd of 10,317 fans. With the South up 4-3 in the fourth, Davis
ripped a two-run single to left field, plating Drew Ferguson and Riders outfielder Jose Cardona. Later in the
frame, Stubb’s cracked a bases-loaded triple, highlighting the seven-run outburst. Midland’s B.J. Boyd sparked
the fourth-inning push with two hits. He finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored en route to All-Star
MVP honors. Rogelio Armenteros, who earned the start for the South, surrendered a 2-run home run to Arkansas’
Chuck Taylor in the first.
