Advantage Staff Benefits scheme
All staff can take advantage of our staff benefits scheme. A
wide range of businesses offer discounts and special offers
to staff, all you need to do is show your ID badge when you
make a purchase.
For a full list of Advantage businesses including details of
discounts and special offers visit OnePlace (our intranet) and click on Buy, Sell & Share button on the right
hand side and then on Staff Benefits Scheme.
Buy, Sell & Share
Buy, Sell & Share is an area on OnePlace (our intranet) where staff members can post items to buy, sell,
exchange and advertise services offered. Go to OnePlace and click on Buy, Sell & Share from the quick
links on the right hand side of the home page.
Cafés
The BOPDHB promotes and encourages healthy food and beverage choices. All food and beverages
available at the BOPDHB align with the Healthy Food and Beverage Environments Guidelines which can
be found in the Healthy Living Section on OnePlace. A variety of foods and beverages are available at
each of the cafés listed for staff and the public to purchase.
Tauranga campus
Foyer Café
Located on the ground floor of the main hospital building. Open 8am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday and 10am
- 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Pacific Café
Located on the first floor of the main hospital building. Open 7am - 7pm daily. Includes ‘staff only’ area
where free tea and coffee is available for staff.
Whakatāne campus
Located on the ground floor of the main hospital building. Open 9am - 6.30pm daily. Includes ‘staff only’
area where free tea and coffee is available for staff.
