Pittwater Inshore Series inc Classic / Couta Boats Division
• Description : The Pittwater Inshore Series is a series of Saturday races on Pittwater using fixed and laid marks dependent on the day ’ s weather forecast . The series caters for all types of boats with a number of scoring options available . This event is also includes the Classic Boats Inshore Series which follows the same format of racing and great enjoyment .
• Race Format : Spinnaker and Non- Spinnaker , around the cans racing on Pittwater .
• Race Length Average : 120-180 minutes .
• Series : The Pittwater Inshore Series is held on a Saturday and runs from September to April with 1-2 races scheduled per month .
• Starting Times : From 1330hrs .
Sportsboats and One Design Classes Mini Regatta Series
• Description : The Sportsboat and One Design Classes Mini Regatta Series is a series of fast paced one design racing featuring short windward leeward sprints . The series is held on a Saturday on Pittwater and caters for both experienced and new one design and sportsboat teams .
• Race Format : A laid course with up to three Windward / Leeward sprints held for each round .
• Race Length Average : 35 minutes per race .
• Series : The Sportsboats and One Design Mini Regatta Series is held on a Saturday and runs from October to April . In addition to the Club programme are four weekend Regattas .
• Starting Times : From 1300hrs .
