Oaklawn has been providing comprehensive mental health and
addictions treatment for children, adolescents, adults and seniors
since 1962. In that time, we have grown from a small organization
in Elkhart to four campuses, and were named as the statedesignated community mental health center for Elkhart and St.
Joseph counties.
Oaklawn walks hand-in-hand with our clients on their journeys.
We do not shy away from the complexity of mental illness but
instead embrace the challenge. Oaklawn employs highly trained
professionals, providing all levels of services to our clients and
advocating to our local communities on their behalf.
Oaklawn is sponsored by the Mennonite Health Services Alliance
and is accredited by The Joint Commission. In addition, we are
licensed by the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addictions
and the Indiana Department of Child Services.
