that all I have to do
is believe in You,
that if I trust and obey
there’s no possible way
for me to fail?
So You’re telling me
that all this time
when I was trusting in my own understanding
that You were waiting for me
to trust
in You?
So You’re telling me
that if I surrender all to You
You would give all to me,
and that, more importantly,
You’ve already done so?
So You’re telling me
that when I focus on myself
I never have a purpose
because a true life
is one lived for others?
So You’re telling me
If I plan to be
the man You’ve called for me to be
It requires me to lose
all sense of me?
What are you telling me?
Help me to hear you.
Even so, Lord, come.
