At Brown, I’ve felt
what it was like
to lose my sense
of self, to lose the
ability to place my
love and be honest
with those closest
to me. In some
ways, I’ve also
lost my faith, but
I’m growing and
learning to be more
intentional, and I
wouldn’t give that
up for anything.
For our first issue,
I interviewed a
professor here about
his wavering faith.
Since then, my faith
wavered too. As a
priest once told him:
“Doubt! But there’s
faith in that doubt,
and doubt in that
faith again, and you’ll
end up with God in
the end—you’ll see.”
I do see. It’s so, so
good to be back.
One thing I’ve
learned is the wealth
of return that comes
when you invest in
relationships. My
Cornerstone family,
specifically, has lifted
me up and cracked
me up. Friends
are my Brown
experience—they
are what I love abo
