“In 2017 I plan to do a series of cowboys which was an idea that I came up with after a friend of mine commissioned me to do three different paintings for her of The Good the Bad and the Ugly. She died late last year and in honor of her since she gave me the idea I will be doing 15 to 20 different cowboy and western themed projects this year. I also plan to do a series of paintings inspired by some of my favorite songs released on Hellcat records because it was one of my favorite record labels in the early 2000s. Lots of good albums came out of there. I will also be showing my artwork through the month of October this year in Crestwood Coffee Co here in Birmingham, Alabama. For that I am doing a series of movie monsters and other Halloween themed pieces that I hope to have completed by the end of summer.”
