NACBA Membership Elects Richard “Hal” Nemeth,
Re-Elects Dan Press and John Colwell to Serve on
Board of Directors
The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) announced on Saturday, May
21, 2016 at the Members Meeting of the 24th Annual Convention in San Francisco, CA, Attorney Richard
“Hal” Nemeth of Cleveland, Ohio has been elected to serve on the NACBA Board of Directors.
As a director on NACBA’s board, Nemeth will be responsible for ensuring that NACBA continues to
play a key role in shaping the outcome of policy-related debates on consumer bankruptcy issues in
Ohio and in regular visits to Capitol Hill in Washington DC. Nemeth will also co-chair NACBA’s 25th
Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida, May 4-7, 2017.
Incumbents Dan Press of McLean, Virginia and John Colwell of San Diego, California were also reelected for three year terms.
NACBA would like to thank Jim Haller, Pam Stewart and Carol Colliersmith for serving as the election
committee to oversee the 2016 election.
