the educational sessions are designed to help

different levels of experience, from beginner to the
most seasoned bankruptcy attorney. You will also

and services specifically for bankruptcy attorneys
by meeting our Convention sponsors, exhibitors

NACBA’s 23rd Annual Convention has been designed to address
Bankruptcy in the 21st Century and finding Solutions to Problem Cases.
The Convention will take a very in depth look into the student loan
crisis; what approaches you can take now to help clients and what it
may mean for your practice in the future. We are bringing in the experts
to discuss other trending topics like: Tax Booby Traps, Zombie Real
Estate Apocalypse, Family Feud: the Intersection of Family Law and
Bankruptcy, Creditor Warfare and Courtroom Techniques, Mindfulness
and Mediation and various areas of Legal Marketing (How to Make
Bank in Bankruptcy Using Social Media non-CLE & Can You Be Found:
Increasing Your Online Presence non-CLE) just to name a few! Can’t get
enough of a certain topic? We have that covered! Selected topics will be
repeated on Sunday morning!
EVIDENCE & PROCEDURE FOR THE BANKRUPTCY LITIGATOR
Join NACBA for a special Pre-Convention Add-On Session offering
specialized training in the practical approach to Pre-Trial Advocacy &
Litigation. You will get to explore rules governing business records and
hearsay and get training on asking a leading vs. non-leading question.
The session will then explore pre-trial advocacy: what to ask, what to
bring with you to court and what to do when you get there! You will not
want to miss it! This session will take place on Thursday, April 23rd from
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Chicago and NACBA’s Convention come together to create the
perfect opportunity to learn, explore the Windy City and socialize
with your colleagues at the only national CLE program designed
primarily for consumer bankruptcy attorneys. Up to 15 credits may
be offered (depending on your state) including the often sought after
Ethics credit.
