God’s Girls
n September 8, 2017, over 35 high school age young women from
all over Kentucky-Tennessee Conference made their way to Indian
Creek Camp for our annual Young Women’s Retreat. As an integral part of
the mission of Women’s Ministry, this event is designed especially to offer
solutions, resources, and skills for Christian young women to navigate the
challenges this world holds for them!
Our retreat coordinator, Crista Crittendon and her team, provided
opportunities throughout the weekend for each young woman to make a
decision to be God’s Girl in all aspects of life. From health talks to spiritual
teaching each young woman was encouraged to take time to grow deeper in
their relationship with Jesus.
We are proud of our young women who are already preaching and singing
in their churches, serving in Pathfinders, and many other capacities as God
continues to open doors for them to fulfill the great commission! They say a
picture is worth a thousand words so enjoy the images of these young women
who spent a weekend getting to know Jesus better as God’s Girls!
