Every dog runs at least twice as the field narrows to the few collies that reach the finals. One task dogs complete is the double lift. Dogs bring two groups of 10 sheep together to form one group of 20, then find and ‘shed’ the 5 sheep who wear collars away from the other 15 who do not wear collars.
