Dr. Jan Davis Parent, Toler Elementary School Senior Pastor, First Rowlett United Methodist Church The abundant generosity of Garland and its surrounding cities has been overflowing. My family and I were present during the unfortunate disaster and there was no hesitation from both neighbors and first responders to assist those in distress. Thank you! It was wonderful to see the people of Rowlett come together in countless ways and respond to the devastation. Our church hosted the Community Emergency Response Teams and cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner every day for the emergency responders and volunteers. As Rowlett rebuilds, we will provide ongoing services and post-trauma counseling information.
