Achieving an incredible feat, the Classical Center at
Brandenburg Middle School , Kimberlin Academy for Excellence ,
Lakeview Centennial High School , Spring Creek Elementary
School and Walnut Glen Academy for Excellence earned all
available distinction designations in addition to the state’s highest
accountability rating of Met Standard.
A GISD student by day became a national award-winning dancer
by night. Armstrong Elementary School fourth-grader Ayden
Nguyen wowed viewers and helped his group win the $1 million
prize on NBC’s televised competition, World of Dance.
