Christine Brewer from Bussey Middle School, Sean Denny from North Garland High School and Tim Hahnl from South Garland High School each received $5,000 for their classrooms and $5,000 for personal use. The GISD community backed the future by supporting local PTAs and increasing overall membership by more than 10 percent in 2015-16. The Garland ISD Council of PTAs’ new Angel Membership program helped bolster support, offering individuals and businesses four levels of sponsorship packages. may 2016
