iPads for high school students start rolling out this fall
As the world changes with new technology , scientific advancements and cutting-edge careers , Garland ISD believes education must change with it . The district ’ s Strategic Plan calls for providing all secondary students a digital device , and in 2014 , voters passed GISD ’ s bond election , which included this proposal .
Rolling out this fall , Ready 1:1 equips high school students with a personal iPad . The initiative starts powering up :
