TWO AYRSHIRE COLLEGE CLASSMATES HAVE BEEN BUSY REPRESENTING SCOTLAND IN THEIR RESPECTIVE SPORTS AHEAD OF CRUCIAL INVOLVEMENT IN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITION .
Hayley Sinclair represents Scotland U19 ’ s at football while Natalie Mackinnon plays with the Scotland U18 ’ s hockey team . Both are currently studying HND Applied Sports and Exercise Science at the College ’ s Skills Centre of Excellence in Irvine .
Natalie has a home tournament coming up this summer while Hayley pulled on the Scotland kit for European Championship qualifiers in Portugal in April .
Hayley recently returned from Portugal , where she played in two friendly wins over Switzerland and Czech Republic .
Meanwhile an Ayrshire College sport student gained a lucrative position with South Ayrshire Active Schools .
Kelsey-Marie Adams , who studies HND Coaching and Developing Sport at the Skills Centre of Excellence in Irvine , has been hired by South Ayrshire Active Schools on an internship .
Active Schools aims to provide more and higher quality opportunities for children to participate in school sport . Ayrshire College has a strong partnership with the Active Schools organisation , providing a high number of volunteers to each of the three Ayrshire Local Authorities .
