Celebrating SUCCESS shine STUDENTS AT AWARDS CEREMONY NATASHA KERR We would like to extend our congratulations to Sport and Fitness student Natasha Kerr, who has been nominated for the Contribution from a Student category at The Herald Higher Education Awards 2016. In May, Natasha was also named by YWCA Scotland as one of the top 30 women under 30 in Scotland. Natasha has already achieved great success this year as she was named both Volunteer of the Year and Youth Worker of the Year at YouthLink Scotland’s National Youth Worker of the Year awards. The latter award was the main prize of the night. Natasha was also shortlisted in the volunteering category at the Sunday Mail’s Young Scot Awards 2016. 21-year-old Natasha dedicated more than 800 hours last year to her volunteering work with Kilmarnock Harriers, Catrine Youth Club and East Ayrshire Vibrant Communities, where she coaches young people in a variety of sports. On collecting her awards, Natasha said “the smile on the young people’s faces makes it all worthwhile.”  CALVIN NILSEN-BARNES Also at the Sunday Mail’s Young Scot Awards
