Three sisters take Motor Vehicle route
THREE SISTERS ARE STUDYING AT THE COLLEGE AT THE SAME TIME , ALL ON MOTOR VEHICLE COURSES .
Sarah Cruickshank is the eldest at 25 and has been at the College since 2014 . Shannon , 19 , followed in her big sister ’ s footsteps soon after , while youngest sibling Rachel , 17 , started at the College in August 2016 .
Shannon is studying on day release and is in her final year before becoming fully qualified . Rachel and Sarah are in their first and third years respectively on full-time courses .
Their father runs his own mechanics company – J & S Motors in Hurlford - which sparked their interest in working with cars . They all dream of working in the family business together .
David Middleton , Curriculum Manager for Trades , said “ While Sarah , Shannon and Rachel are all at different stages in their qualifications , it ’ s interesting to have three members of the same family studying the same course subject .
“ All three are progressing extremely well and I am sure they will make exceptional mechanics once they complete their time here .”
