SQA Champion, John,

SQA College Candidate of the Year
Stephen Wilson, Ayrshire College
The College won three
awards at the SQA Star
Awards in Edinburgh in
November.
We had four shortlisted
nominations, two of which
were shortlisted in the same
category.
Our excellent Curriculum
Manager for Sports and Social
Science, John McTaggart, was
crowned ‘SQA Champion’,
while his colleagues in the
Sport and Fitness department
won the ‘Innovation’ award.
In the Innovation category,
Campus Liaison Officer, PC
Lisa Thomson, and Addictions
Liaison Officer, Cara Durnie
also received a Highly
Commended award for NHS
Ayrshire and Arran and Police
Scotland’s partnership with
the College.
