The Airtel Run For Education, mother of all
marathons in Kolkata happened on the 25 th
Nov’18 in the presence of Bollywood actress
Rhea Chakraborty & National Secretary Tr
Akshay Dugar. This year, CSRT 17 took the
marathon to a greater heights by adding a sweet
and scenic 21k route which touted and broke
records. ARFE witnessed the highest
participation of runners in any sporting
marathon in the 21k category. ARFE has proven
to be the biggest publicity and fundraising event
for RTI. With Banner Sponsors like Airtel,
Reebok and corporate support from every
known business house in Kolkata, ARFE keeps
getting bigger every year. This year the recipient
of the proceeds of the event would be Saraswati
Shishu Mandir, Kharagpur - a school which
currently doesn't even have pakka (brick) walls.
CSRT 106 & ACRT 322 with support from
CSLC83 jointly Inaugurated an FTE Project on
24 th Nov’18 at Durgapur. The project
comprising of 3 classrooms, 3 toilet block and 1
water station was inaugurated at Benacity Netaji
Vidyalaya, Durgapur in the presence of National
Secretary Tr Akshay Dugar, Area Chairman Tr
Manish Lakhotia, APC Tr Tushar Agarwal and
tablers from DART 271.
CHRT 67 inaugurated a Toilet block at its FTE
project Shri Kushwaha High School in Howrah
on 16 th November’18. CHRTians also did
community service by distributing 100 school
bags to the kids and also distributed goodies. A
Good Touch Bad Touch session was also given
which sensitised around 150 students. Around
100 plants and saplings were also planted as part
