3. Cut at a right angle across the top of the sleeves. 4. Turn one sleeve inside out. 5. Put the right way one inside the inside out one. 6. Line up the two crotch edges. Sew the length of the crotch. It looks like a U shape, but as you sew around, it appears to be a straight line. 48 48 7. Go back to the body of the jumper, or another jumper if you would like to have a contrasting colour. Stretch the hem of the jumper slightly so you have a smaller length of ribbed edge compared to the width of the trousers. 8. Cut the ribbed edge of the jumper, sew the end together.
