We live by the rule of thumb that we try
to nurture each other’s differences while
applauding the other’s creativity and passions.
What makes our family unique is that we are
the first in a long line to both homeschool our
children as well as live with the gentle parenting
technique. We were not always like this, we had
to unlearn many years of automatic responses
taught by generations past – but we are learning
that continuing cycles that no longer work, do
no help our family grow spiritually. Our focus is
in teaching our children that the world is open
to them, no matter who or what came before

them. Our foundations are simple, learn to love
what you do, and do what you love, and treat
each other with respect and love…everything
else comes to being in the appropriate time.

We have learned to take one day at a time, and
make our best to enjoy the moments of madness
