Merchants Crossing sits on 73.2 acres at a prime intersection – N. Cleveland Avenue and Pine Island Road. It is one of 11 properties owned by RD Management across Florida, and one of more than 150 properties in its national portfolio. The Lee County Arts Center, Inc. (a nonprofit organization) and Sewing Boutique presented the Inaugural Art Walk for North Fort Myers. The event took place on July 28th at Hancock Bridge Plaza, 13500 N. Cleveland Avenue. It was a huge success, bringing awareness to North Fort Myers and showcasing the many talents of local artists. Looking Ahead: Each year the Horizon Council, Horizon Foundation, and Lee County Economic Development celebrate local business contributions through the prestigious Industry Appreciation Awards. This year the awards will be held on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Hyatt Regency at Coconut Point in Estero. 16 RPCRA.ORG | SEP/OCT 2018 Recently, the Community Outreach subcommittee spearheaded a project to bring joy to people who might need a little help. They handed out river rocks to Association members for them to take home and decorate with paint, glitter, sequins, etc. Those rocks will be taken to cancer treatment centers in the area, and either handed out to patients or hidden throughout the property for them to find. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard on creating such beautiful works for people to find!
