Happy Spring ! It hasn ’ t felt much like winter this year , but you ’ ve likely noticed the change in seasons elsewhere – on the roads and in your business , just to name a few . The seasonal residents have most certainly kept you busy , but that ’ s a good thing , right ?
Spring brings with it a lot of exciting events – within our association , the state and national associations , and our local community . We have Great American Realtor ® Days , networking mixers , and of course the annual Realtor ® Golf Benefit . Not only are these events an opportunity to enjoy our community , but also to grow your business network by getting to know other Realtors ® and industry affiliates better . Not to mention , some of these events help raise money to benefit the community . Who doesn ’ t love helping out ?
We hope the upcoming months continue to be busy ( in the good way ), and as always , that you use this magazine as a tool in your day-to-day business . We welcome your feedback and ideas on how we can make Connect Magazine a resource not just for you , but for your clients too .

Two Association members were recognized at the Florida Realtors ® Mid-Winter Business Meetings this past January . Jason Jakus , 2016 District 5 Vice President and Association Past President , was installed as Vice President of the Florida Chapter of the Real Estate Business Institute ( pictured left ).
Current Association Board Director Blaine Elmer was accepted into the Florida Realtors ® Leadership Academy ( not pictured ).
