Please note that effective immediately , we will implement the fining aspect of the MLS Data Checker . You may have been previously notified for a non-compliance issue with your listing , but fines were not being assessed .
There is also a widget box on your Homepage in Matrix that allows you to check your violations and notices .
You will still have 5 days to correct the listing , once you have been notified of the violation . If the listing is corrected in this time frame and in compliance , you will not receive a fine .
If the listing is not corrected , you will receive a $ 25 fine for the violation .
Please note that some notices are only Courtesy Notices and do not require any action by an agent , they are for informational purposes to make agents aware of specific MLS rules .
Click the link and it will check your listing for POSSIBLE violations . This does not mean your listing is in violation , since the system cannot check everything . An example would be a Virtual Tour link might flag as a violation , but the system cannot check to see if the tour is branded or not branded .
You have the ability to check your listings once they have been made ACTIVE . At the bottom of the “ Modify Listing ” screen you will see a link for “ Listing Compliance Check ”:
