Tutored Courses
Our ever popular ‘tutored courses’ will be running again this year. As usual we plan to run them three times – before Christmas, after New Year and before the summer. These courses run over 5-8 weeks (depending on the course), during which participants engage with the course material, each other and their tutor – which makes for a very practical and collaborative experience of the material.

Participants and tutors join from our schools across the globe, and whilst we try to do our best to avoid holidays, it’s not possible to find 5-8 week slots that are perfect for everyone. So this year, we want to encourage you to think ahead and plan the best time of year for you to sign up to do one of these courses to give you the maximum advantage. We asked teachers who had taken our tutored courses about their level of knowledge out of 5 before and after undertaking the course, and discovered an overall increase of 72% in score!

Remember our article earlier this edition about formal and informal learning? These courses are a great way to take part in structured learning, but they also will provide you with ideas, themes and concepts which you can then pick up in your information learning activities.
Tutored course dates for 2018/2019:
Term 1: Courses run between 12 October 2018 and end 6 December
Term 2: Courses run between 18 January 2019 and 14 March
Term 3: Courses run between 3 May 2019 and 28 June
