Students collaborate with Cherry Soda Jewellery
OUR FASHION STUDENTS TEAMED UP WITH CHERRY SODA JEWELLERY AGAIN THIS YEAR FOR AN UPCYCLING DESIGN CHALLENGE .
Shoes and handbags were transformed by the students using broken jewellery . The winners were decided by Cherry Soda ’ s Facebook followers .
HND Fashion Design and Production with Retail student Graeme Bone won the competition and the prize of a £ 50 voucher , Sam McRoberts Level 6 was the runner up with £ 25 , and Georgia Haygreen another HND Fashion student was awarded £ 15 .
Our Fashion department also supported an upcycling demonstration and styling event to entice and educate the general public of the benefits in purchasing second-hand items .
