College News East Ayrshire Schools Competitive Sports Calendar EAST AYRSHIRE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS TOOK PART IN A COMPETITIVE SCHOOL SPORTS CALENDAR, ORGANISED BY ACTIVE SCHOOLS AND FACILITATED BY SPORTS STUDENTS AT OUR KILMARNOCK CAMPUS. Students were previously involved in the Competitive School Sport Calendar, which took place in different venues across East Ayrshire. This year, every event took place in the Kilmarnock Campus Games Hall and outside pitch. The calendar enables school pupils the opportunity to hone their skills and talents, and 24 compete against others at their level. Our students get involved in the many tasks that come with a competitive sports event, such as refereeing matches, keeping scores and ensuring matches are played on schedule. Cherryl Fulton, Active Schools Co-ordinator said “Within Vibrant Communities, the ethos has al ways been to get more people more active more often.
