for the Older Adult fitness project in East
Ayrshire.
Our Health & Social Care team was presented
with the Developing a Regional Curriculum
Award at the College Development Network
Awards for its ‘Prepare for Care - A Career in
Care’ programme.
We also won Highly Commended awards in the
Employer Connections Award and Innovative
College Award categories, and Commended
award wins for former Sport & Fitness student
Kayleigh Haggo in the Student Citizenship
Award category, and for Sport & Fitness events
organised with Supporters Direct Scotland in the
Inclusive College Award category.
At the SQA Star Awards, former Irvine campus-
based student, James O’Neill won the College
Candidate of the Year Award.
Also at the SQA Star Awards, our Me2u project
won the Highly Commended Award in the
Innovation category.
Kayleigh Haggo was awarded the Rising Star
Diversity Award at the GenAnalytics Diversity
Awards 2017.
