At the end of the timed
challenge, the students’
dishes were judged
by Trump Turnberry’s
Ralph Porciani (General
Manager) and Ryan
Murphy (Executive Sous
Chef), Willie Mackie
(Chair of Taste Ayrshire
and Ayrshire College) and
Howard Wilkinson from
the Farmers Market.
The students welcomed
a very special guest to
the event – His Royal
Highness, The Duke of
Rothesay.
He spoke to all of the
College’s young chefs
about their dishes and
chatted with the other
students observing the
event.
The winning teams were:
Best Recipe – Karli Keller and Scott Robertson
Best Presentation – Jack Steele and Lewis Costley
Best Tasting – Kelsey Dunn and Scott Duncan
All of the dishes looked and tasted fantastic,
