Smoke Free Campus
WE ARE NOW A SMOKE
FREE ENVIRONMENT AFTER
STAFF AND STUDENTS
VOTED OVERWHELMINGLY
TO MAKE ALL CAMPUSES
SMOKE FREE FROM
THE 2015 - 16 SESSION
ONWARDS.
We are now smoke free on
all campuses, car parks and
grounds of the College. This
will enhance the health and
wellbeing of students, staff and
visitors.
Smoke

Camp
Every student was made aware
of the new smoke free policy
throughout the induction
process.
The Smoke Free signs which
are displayed at all campus
entrances were designed by
Creative Arts student Suzanne
Penman.
Suzanne said “I have really
enjoyed working with the
marketing team at Ayrshire
College over the summer. It
was a great opportunity to get
relevant work experience in
graphic design. I am pleased
everyone liked my design and
I hope that it will be effective
in promoting that we are now
a smoke free college.”
We are working with Councils
to ensure that residents in
the immediate vicinity of our
campus buildings are not
negatively impacted by our
smoke free policy.
It is important that staff
and students respect our
neighbours by not dropping
litter or smoking near homes.
