I want to tell you a nice story, a story with
a happy end.
This story took place some years ago in
south Italy, in the Campania region, more
precisely in the province of Salerno, whe-
re large numbers of rivers and streams re-
main unpolluted, a place where some good
friends, after a very hard work, were able to
complete a fantastic project.
In 2010 we finally had a no kill stretch both
on the Sele and Tanagro River, two rivers
now managed by the Sele/Tanagro Rede-
velopment Association.
It has been a dream for many years and for many of us,
including local fly-fishing pioneers of this region, people
like Nunzio Troisi, Antonio Sabetta, Alessandro Vuolo,
Gerardo Formica e Prof. Antonio Briscione, who all
spent a lot of time and energy in this project.
