5 London Cosmo magic Cosmopolitan explains how the Cosmopolitan Influencer Awards embraced the glamour of Kensington Palace Client: Hearst Live, Hearst UK Event: Cosmopolitan Influencer Awards in association with PANDORA Date: 12 April 2018 Venue: Kensington Palace Pavilion Number of guests: 150 hy Kensington Palace Pavilion? Having previously hosted events at the Orangery we were excited when the Kensington Palace Pavilion was launched and felt it would be the perfect place to host the Cosmopolitan Influencer Awards in association with PANDORA. The Kensington Palace Pavilion offered us a great location, a flexible space, somewhere new and the opportunity to be one of the first to host an event there - and of course the kudos of hosting an event at Kensington Palace for ourselves and our sponsor, PANDORA. Objective We are undeniably living in the golden age of the influencer. Our conversations, ideas and attitudes are shaped by a collective of individuals who have taken social media by storm, ripped up the ambassador rule book and changed the way brands market to their audiences. The Cosmopolitan Influencer Awards is designed to champion these game changing individuals by recognising and rewarding influencers across all categories and media platforms. Be it bloggers, vloggers, YouTubers, makers or shakers Cosmopolitan worked collaboratively with PANDORA to celebrate these influencers and their achievements culminating in an Awards Ceremony on 12 April at Kensington Palace Pavilion. Suppliers We worked with a range of Historic Royal Palaces’ trusted suppliers; Moving Venue and www.conference-news.co.uk Event Concept provided the catering and AV/production. Moving Venue created a gold themed dessert station to tie in with the PANDORA Shine gold themed campaign and we had gold running across all of the branding, stage set, etc. Event Concept produced a range of bespoke pieces including our honeycomb gold themed stage set, as well as bringing the vision of Hearst Live’s creative production manager to life in the form of a Kira Kira Confetti Pool. Challenges? Being the first external event in the Pavilion meant that we had the challenge of paving the way with how we utilised the space, discovering what we could and couldn’t brand and adhering to any restrictions of the venue as a whole.
