De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre, De Vere Orchard Hotel and
De Vere Jubilee Conference Centre are all in on the academic venue scene
e Vere has three flexible
conference and
accommodation venues
situated within the
University of Nottingham’s campus,
just two miles from Nottingham city
centre and close to the M1
motorway; De Vere East Midlands
Conference Centre, De Vere
Orchard Hotel and De Vere Jubilee
Conference Centre. Together they
offer over 30 conference and event
spaces and 297 bedrooms.
The conference centres boast
lecture theatres, training rooms and
versatile event spaces, including the
500-seated auditorium at De Vere
East Midlands Conference Centre,
which was awarded ‘Best
Auditorium’ in the CHS 2018
Awards. All spaces are equipped
with state-of-the-art modern
facilities for meetings and events
which, when combined with the
University of Nottingham’s continual
investment into its buildings and
facilities, place the campus at the
forefront of Midlands’ conference
venues.
The three properties all operate
De Vere’s innovative Smart Space
meetings concept, which comprises
of nine service elements, including
inspirational meeting rooms, a
personal conference host and
tech-savvy support. In addition, they
all serve nutritious seasonal menus
created by De Vere’s Group
Nutritionist, Wendy Martinson OBE.
De Vere Orchard Hotel is home to
the recently refurbished Bramley’s
Brasserie which serves a range of
locally sourced and seasonal
dishes. De Vere Jubilee Conference

Centre has recently opened Spokes
restaurant, located on the site of the
original Raleigh manufacturing site.
The restaurant serves coffee from
200 Degrees Coffee, a local
Nottingham Barista school, fresh
cakes, pastries, salads, flatbreads
and pizzas.
Delegates have access to free,
superfast Wi-Fi with a maximum
bandwidth of 1GB and
complimentary access to the
state-of-the-art gym and 25m
swimming pool at the University
of Nottingham’s £40m David
Ross Sports Village. Offering
extensive, cutting-edge sports
facilities, the sports village
provides motivating breakout
spaces and team building options
for delegates as well as a variety
of flexible event spaces.
