INNOVATION AND TEAMWORK GO HAND IN HAND AT SAC STATE There is nothing ordinary about the Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex taking shape at California State University, Sacramento. Built to LEED ® Gold Standards, the new complex will feature a grass-covered roof that provides insulation and captures storm water, a rooftop observatory, a detached 2,500-square-foot planetarium, and windows that allow passersby to view students and scientists at work in the more than 30 laboratories and two lecture halls. This $91.5 million, five-story design-build project will put science on display. Its cutting-edge facilities will help prepare students to make medical and scientific breakthroughs. With completion scheduled for Fall 2019, our team is proud to work together on this monumental addition to California State University, Sacramento and its mission to transform lives.
