SAPO PLAYA
Our experience at Sapo Playa pretty much summed up our whole experience in the Amazon. When
we arrived at the flooded village we realized the only way to the Sapo Playa Center branch was to
walk through almost knee high water. I turned to the girls and said they would need to take off their
boots and socks in order to get to where we needed to go or they could stay on the boat. Without
hesitation, all 14 of the girls got up and accepted the challenge! A little different take to the phrase -
take off your shoes and stay awhile!
