C OMPASSIONATE I NTEGRITY T RAINING A S ECULAR E THICS A PPROACH TO C ULTIVATING P ERSONAL , S OCIAL AND E NVIRONMENTAL F LOURISHING J UST L IKE M E P RACTICE S CRIPT (12 to 15 minutes) In Preparation for the Practice: During this practice you will be asked to bring to mind one of three people: someone who is dear to you, such as a close friend or a loved one; or a stranger, a real person whom you have seen before, perhaps someone you see regularly at a job or school or at a store you frequent but feel neither close to nor distant from; or someone who has harmed you or with whom you have a difficult relationship. If you are new to this practice, you should select a loved one. As you progress in this practice, you can move to the stranger and difficult person. Before we begin, you may want to take a moment to select the person you want to use during the practice. Start of Practice: If you are making a recording of this script, add the italicized text.
