If this is a person you have known for more than a year, you may wish to choose a specific time period to start with, such as the first year or few years you knew this person, and then continue from there the next time you do this practice. Before we begin, you may want to take a moment to think of who you would like to do Naikan with during the practice. This contemplative practice is designed to be used in conjunction with the Compassionate Integrity Training program.
