CMH policy states staff cannot accept gifts from
residents, patients, families, etc. The only ex-
ception is if it is something modest and can be
shared with all staff (example: a tray of cookies
to place in the break room). Nothing can be
taken home with staff. Another alternative
to gifts is to donate to our Karen Sibley
Canopy Project or the Activities Department. Please
understand that it is hard to refuse a gift when residents and their
families are only trying to show their love and gratitude, but it is un-
ethical and against the State and Federal regulations. If you or the
resident has any concerns or question, please let us know.
Thank you to the
El Dorado Springs
Municipal Band for
coming to play for us
on Sunday August 5th.
The 23rd annual MHCA Golden Age Games will be held on
Friday, Oct. 12 at Southwest Baptist University in
Bolivar. This year we will have a Hawaiian theme and be the
Community Springs “Islanders.” Residents and staff have
already started practicing for games and we are looking
forward to a great time with all the participating facilities.
We would like
to extend our
deepest
sympathy to the
family and
friends of
