Getting to know...
LORELEI HARRIS
Lorelei Harris was born
Aug. 14, 1934, to Larry and Lilian
Stratton in Modesto, Calif. Lorelei
had one brother.
At age 11 Lorelei and her family
moved to Fresno, Calif., and she
graduated from Roosevelt
High School in 1952. She then went
on to taking bookkeeping classes at
a college in San Francisco.
Lorelei has been with Joe Eaton
for 48 years and they have 6 chil-
dren together: Larry; Linda; John; Lisa; Robin and Tammy, 14
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Lorelei met Joe
through a program called Parents without Partners in Fresno. “Joe
is my ‘right-hand man’ and I am very blessed to have him,” said
Lorelei.
Lorelei worked several years in accounting and her and Joe sold
things at Swap Meets for 13 years.
The couples favorite thing to do is travel, and they have been
all over the United States and Canada. The couple also enjoy
watching Nascar races, trying new restaurants, and going out for
drives. She has 3 cats at home: Miss Black, Nasty and George, and
they are spoiled rotten.
