Paul Floyd Hooper was born on July 15 , 1940 , in St . Clair County , Mo ., to Floyd and Beulah Hooper . He had two brothers and one sister .
Paul attended Bear Creek Elementary School , and later went to Osceola High School . He met his wife Dorsha Smith in high school and they married in 1960 . The Hoopers were blessed with three sons , Greggory , Daniel , and Alan . After 53 wonderful years of marriage , they have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild with one more on the way .
Paul worked at Western Auto , Witts Printing , and later farmed full-time where he raised cattle and harvested his own crops . This became quite the family business . Everyone enjoyed farm life to the fullest . Paul was able to teach his boys about family values , hard work , and the love of God while remaining on the farm .
After spending 53 years with the love of his life , Dorsha went to be with the Lord . Paul continued to work the farm for a few more years before making the decision to move into Community Springs this past year . He likes to spend his time doing activities and interacting with the friends he has made while living here .
