CAI LEADS THE WAY Four Offices to Serve You San Diego, Carlsbad, Buena Park & San Bernardino As we hit the Fall Season, I can’t help but notice our great momentum! From record attendance at events, membership growth and unbridled energy, this year has been quite a success. The reason is quite simple: We are THE single best resource for Community Association Volunteers, Community Managers and Business Partners. Every day, we have a great group of volunteers that work to bring value to each and every member. Of course, leading our great volunteers is our CAI San Diego Executive Team: Richard Ybarra, Reagan Espino and Melanie Viloria. The three of them do a great job of bringing it all together. 877-789-7786 Repipe Plumbing Service Plumbing Slab Leak Repairs Hydro Jetting/Drain Cleaning Free Leak Detection Reroute/By-Pass Free Camera Inpsections Mainlines and Sewer Lines A few of recent highlights need to be mentioned: The Outreach Committee did a great job organizing our involvement with Feeding San Diego. Dozens of volunteers joined the committee members as we packed and organized food to be distributed to needy San Diego residents. We also had Business Partners and Management Companies collecting hundreds of pounds of food for weeks prior to the event. It was a great collective effort and truly showed our support for San Diego. “We Keep the Water Flowing” Since Summertime tends to be more social, we had two great events: Wine Night and the Tiki Party. The Wine Night was held at Vintana Restaurant with its sweeping views and ambience. The Tiki Party was held at the Mission Bay Hilton in an island like setting, right on the Bay. Both events were five star and had our largest attendance to date. HOA University Coming this Fall, I am pleased to announce our brand new HOA University. Thanks to the hard work of our Education Committee, we have classes for Board Members and Managers covering five topics: Legal, Accounting, Reserves, Building Maintenance and Insurance. Some of the industry’s top specialist will cover each topic over a 5-week period. Check with the CAI-SD office for dates and location. Welcome to the Board The Board of Directors were pleased to appoint Yvette Huffman of Trilogy Management and Robert Riddick of Sunnymead Ranch PCA. We are excited and thankful to have them bring their talents to the Board! As always, I would love to hear from you.
