ADULTS WITH COGNITIVE DISABILITIES PROGRAM
A Community Education Program supported by the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale,
South Washington County, Roseville, White Bear Lake and Mahtomedi School Districts
All classes are being offered online via Zoom only. An email address is necessary to send the Zoom link and any
handouts and supply lists.
Due to the unpredictability of COVID-19 we are using a “Register Now Pay Later” procedure. When registering
online you will not be charged for your class at the time of checkout, however you must enter payment
information. Your credit/debit card or checking account will be charged 3 days prior to the class start date. If you
are mailing your registration into the office along with a check, your check will be handled as a one-time electronic
fund transfer or draft. You will be notified if classes are cancelled.
ART
Spooky Halloween Paintings in Miniature
Make two miniature paintings
on canvas—a spooky tree and a
Halloween painting of your own.
You will also receive an easel for
displaying one of your masterpieces.
Craft supplies will be mailed to you.

Starry Night fork scrape painting.

Photography Basics for Your Smartphone Camera
If you have a camera on your phone, you know how easy and
fun it is to take photos! But are you getting the best results?
Learn little tips that make a big difference such as camera
angle, lighting, avoiding distracting backgrounds, how to
capture your subject and more. We’ll keep the learning nontechnical
and help you take your photography to the next

Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
Can you build the tallest snowman
using only a few items? Let’s give it a
shot. Build your snowman during the
Zoom activity and show off just how
tall you can make it. Other winter
challenges will be included in this
activity. Register by January 16 so
there is time to mail the supplies.
