The Lake County Board supports building the IL Route 53 extension (from Lake Cook Road to Route 120). The
move forward with an Illinois Route 53/120 Corridor project in Lake County. The Tollway Board's Strategic
Planning Committee reviewed the council's report and determined the Tollway should participate in future
steps toward project development, including a corridor land use plan and developing engineering details.
