CROSSTOWN
SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS ON
PSL’S BRIDGE TO THE FUTURE
T he City’s residents are energized and excited about the tremendous progress
made in 2018 on the Crosstown Parkway Extension Bridge. The project, which
broke ground in early 2017, is on track for completion in Fall 2019.
The feedback from residents throughout 2018 has been overwhelmingly positive.
The mere mention of #Crosstown sends the City’s social media platforms ablaze
with activity. Here’s a small sampling of comments from Facebook:
“ Anxious for the finish, what a great thing
this is for our City. ”
“ Port St. Lucie Blvd who??? Cannot wait. ”
“ Love Crosstown! ”
“ Can’t wait until this project is complete. It’s going
to help with traffic issues along Port St. Lucie Blvd.,
and St. Lucie West/Prima Vista Blvd. Those of us who
live in Tradition will finally be able to make it over to
Hwy 1 without major traffic congestion. ”
