P O R T Feb 2018 CROSSTOWN SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS ON PSL’S BRIDGE TO THE FUTURE T he City’s residents are energized and excited about the tremendous progress made in 2018 on the Crosstown Parkway Extension Bridge. The project, which broke ground in early 2017, is on track for completion in Fall 2019. The feedback from residents throughout 2018 has been overwhelmingly positive. The mere mention of #Crosstown sends the City’s social media platforms ablaze with activity. Here’s a small sampling of comments from Facebook: “ Anxious for the finish, what a great thing this is for our City. ” “ Port St. Lucie Blvd who??? Cannot wait. ” “ Love Crosstown! ” “ Can’t wait until this project is complete. It’s going to help with traffic issues along Port St. Lucie Blvd., and St. Lucie West/Prima Vista Blvd. Those of us who live in Tradition will finally be able to make it over to Hwy 1 without major traffic congestion. ” Mar 2018 CITY OF PORT ST.
